Formaldehyde Gas Alarm | CH₂O Alarm Detector

CMC’s fixed formaldehyde (CH₂O) gas detectors provide 24-hour monitoring of formaldehyde concentrations in industrial and commercial environments. When formaldehyde(CH₂O) leaks, the gas detection system generates sound and light alarms, ensuring workplace safety. Formaldehyde detectors are commonly used in chemical plants, laboratories, furniture manufacturing, paint shops, and for indoor air quality monitoring.

Formaldehyde(CH₂O) gas monitor installation:
Installation Location: Formaldehyde (CH₂O) gas has a slightly lighter density than air, but close to that of air, so the recommended installation height is 1–1.5 meters.
Mounting Method: Wall-mount or duct-mount, securely fixed.
Power Supply and Wiring: 24V DC, 4–20mA output/RS485/relay. Wiring should be done according to the user manual.
Calibration and Testing: Zero calibration after power-on and warm-up, and recalibrate regularly.
Precautions: Avoid corrosive gases, keep the probe clean, and do not obstruct the probe.

The fixed formaldehyde gas detector is mainly used to monitor the concentration of formaldehyde (CH₂O) in the air, but depending on the sensor type, it can also detect other common toxic or combustible gases such as chlorine (Cl₂), ammonia (NH₃), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), hydrogen (H₂), methane (CH₄), and hydrogen chloride (HCl), providing real-time safety monitoring and early warning in indoor or industrial environments.
