Sulfur dioxide gas alarm | SO₂ alarm detector

Sulfur dioxide is a toxic gas. The leakage of sulfur dioxide gas may pose a certain danger to the safety of life and property of enterprises and people. Therefore, when producing and using sulfur dioxide, it is necessary to always detect gas leakage. The installation of sulfur dioxide gas alarm can effectively detect the leakage concentration of sulfur dioxide gas and prevent losses caused by leakage.

The fixed sulfur dioxide gas alarm system produced by CMC is mainly composed of gas alarm detectors and gas alarm controllers. It is widely used in underground operations, coal mines, boiler rooms, tunnels, desulfurization workshops, and other industries where flammable and toxic gases exist.

CMC fixed-install sulfur dioxide toxic gas alarm is suitable for the petroleum industry, chemical industry, metallurgical industry, gas industry, power industry, and environmental protection industry. It adopts high-precision electrochemical sensors and has real-time monitoring, sound and light alarm and remote signal output functions.

Installation instructions for industrial gas leak alarms:
1. Gas detectors should be installed in places where gas is prone to leak. The specific location should be determined based on the specific gravity of the detected gas relative to the air:
When the specific gravity of the detected gas is greater than the specific gravity of air, the gas detector should be installed at a distance of (30-60) cm from the ground.
When the specific gravity of the detected gas is less than the specific gravity of air, the gas detector should be installed at a distance of (30-60) cm from the ceiling.
2. Fixed gas detection systems detect gases one-to-one.
3. Detection range: 15-20 square meters, catalytic combustion sensors (%LEL) are used for combustible gases, and electrochemical sensors (ppm, 10ppm) are used for toxic gases.

◆ In order to use the toxic and combustible gas detector correctly and prevent the occurrence of gas alarm failure, please do not install it in the following locations:
1. Places directly affected by steam and oil smoke.
2. Places with large air flow such as air inlets, ventilation fans, doors, etc.
3. Places with a lot of water vapor and water droplets (relative humidity ≥ 95%RH).
4. Places with temperatures below -40℃ or above 65℃.
5. Places with strong electromagnetic fields.
