The CMC-600KZ series gas alarm controllers, manufactured by CMC company, typically require Four-wire 4 × 1.5 mm² RVV cable for RS-485 bus signal transmission. The CMC600 series gas detectors are connected to the controller with four-core cables equipped with a metallic shielding layer, which effectively resists interference:
In addition, 4 × 0.75 mm² or 4 × 1.0 mm² shielded cables can also be used. The choice depends on the installation distance and the number of detectors: in general, the longer the distance, the thicker the power cable required.
